SC Healthcare and Alliant Purchasing Form Strategic Partnership
Clinton, MS and Louisville, KY
A strategic alliance between SC Healthcare Purchasing and Alliant Purchasing will increase members' purchasing power. Important contracts in the surgical implant portfolio that serve as significant differentiators for GPO members and the vendor community are highlighted by the strategic cooperation with Alliant. Currently, SC Healthcare provides purchased service agreements for member hospitals, health systems, and devoted programmatic value and benefits.
This collaboration results in savings for member hospitals and health systems ranging from nine to twenty-one percent. This represents significant savings when considering the ongoing financial difficulties in healthcare, as well as the fact that the supply chain directs up to 40% of a hospital's total operating expenditures.
“The partnership between Alliant and SC Healthcare will generate fresh and distinctive procurement opportunities. We are now able to significantly reduce costs in extremely expensive and complicated spend categories without controlling provider practices.” stated Jonathan Smith, SC Healthcare's president and CEO.
